The drone has a form of pattern repeating every 2 minutes. But other thing are vaguely linked to this pattern. The heart of this patch is intellijel quadra + expansion. I'm using 3 oscillators and noise. I add some character to the sound with a driver pedal (boss bd-2).

Start with chaos. In this sound/patch you have the possibility to enjoy chaos and feedbacki use my sloth lfos and jerkoff - another chaos moduleim possible sick i like this - thou its simple. Sloth modulate vco and filter cut of frequencyfeedback from vco to the filter via a vca controlled by a looping envpan fx also controlled by sloth - same env that controls the frequency. The "prassel" rustle sound is great in my earsjerkoff, exp vca, function and another sloth. Small but nice drone patch. Will try to replicate it on my physical modular.

Cool sounds from filter. The two filters filter a tri-wave. The filters are almost self oscillating and are modulated by an lfo. Natural tones. And some spring reverb and analog delay.

Using nonlinearcircuits sloth lfo (regular version) to control volume, pan an some other stuff. . . Always nice to see/hear chaos in action. Sloth delivers cv and let me play with a ruffly tuned chord that goes thoughan analog delay pedal.

Noisey reverberant echoey thing.

This sound started with a simple recording (yeti microphone) of me clapping my hands. I later added effects to it in ableton.

A space inspired pad.

The sound is a guitar drone. Effects used: light distortion > eq > pitch shifter/harmonizer on multi-effect > delay on a second multi-effect > more delay > vibrato > reverb. ) direct to soundcard, edited w/ compression and fading on the beginning/end to hide "loop clicks". Sound is a bit distorted in parts due to peaking from the reverb (i guess). . . Meant to imitate shoegaze-style guitar drones. . . If i had a proper amp it might sound better!.

Made this loop to improvise on c dorian. Delay added later on ableton live. Gear used:. Washburn wr 150 emg-89, s and s. Both single pick ups were selected.

A resonant reverse cymbal sound i made with a small reverb and an 1\8 note dotted dub delay. At 107bpm.

We wanted to add some tape delay to a piano track we were recording. This is an artifact that came from routing the third delay track back to the source track. Essentially, a quick two second feedback loop. Recorded with a peluso p12 and an akg 414.

This is a paul reed smith recorded live with delay and reverb at a tempo of 90bpm. Would work for an intro for many different genres.
